Xtreme Painting LLC offers custom interior painting. We use only top quality products provided by our trusted vendors. Interior painting has three steps that are incorporated to every project:
Preparation – since not every wall is perfect, there is always something to repair prior to painting. Nail pops, cracks, dents, stains are always fixed to prepare the surface. Usually each patch is spot primed to increase bond between paint and surface.
Drywall repair – if there is water damage, marker stains, grease, etc. on the surface, no matter how many coats of paint you apply, stain will always bleed through. After severe water penetration, drywall is replaced and primed. Surrounding area is checked for mold and treated if necessary.
Priming – is necessary with dramatic color changes from light to very dark colors or dark to much lighter colors. Primer speeds up painting process and prepares surface. Primer is also used to cover stains and/or repaired areas.
Painting – in this process, walls, ceilings and trims are covered with at least two coats of top quality paint to ensure long lasting color and durability. There is choice of finish ranging from FLAT through EGG-SHELL, SATIN, SEMI-GLOSS and GLOSS. More sheen usually means better maintenance and washability but higher exposure of surface imperfections.
Clean-up – to ensure great customer satisfaction, every work site is thoroughly cleaned. Dusting and vacuuming leaves every home spotless.
One of the services that our company offers is exterior painting. Exterior of every house is exposed to harsh elements like rain, sun, humidity and cold temperatures. All these features cause paint finish to peel off, crack and chalk with time. Professional, extremely durable coatings are used by us to protect your home from elements all year long. Popular service provided by our company, especially during Spring time is power washing.
Power washing – cleaning or striping using high pressure combined with cleaning solutions. Used in projects such as:
Siding cleaning – to remove dirt, algae, mildew, etc. from vinyl, wood or aluminum siding
Concrete cleaning – to clean walkways, patios, driveways, etc.
Deck maintenance – to remove old finish before applying new stain or sealer. Also to re-fresh or brighten deck surface. Average deck re-staining takes 2 days. First day to remove old finish. Second day to apply new finish if surface is completely dry and there is no rain in forecast the following day.
When it comes to products used in deck maintenance, there is few options from clear sealer to semi- transparent to solid stain. Colors vary by manufacturer.
Every power washer has adjustable pressure, so if the surface is delicate (soft wood) and there is a risk of creating a dents or grooves, pressure is reduced to a safe level. Heavy duty cleaning chemicals are used in some projects to speed up cleaning process. Nowadays most of the cleaning solvents are bio-degradable therefore safe for environment.
Concrete staining – we offer beautiful and durable concrete stains. We use Solid Concrete Stain to refresh and renew the look of your walkway, patio or driveway. Stain is formulated to withstand heavy foot traffic and hot tires of your vehicles on driveway.
Power washing – surface has to be power washed and cleaned using cleaning solution to ensure proper bonding to the concrete.
Etching – concrete is treated with muriatic acid to make concrete porous, remove rust and increase concrete responsiveness to applied top coat.
Priming – if concrete was never coated before, primer has to be applied. It is clear substance applied to increase bond between concrete surface and top coat of stain.
Staining – usually two coats of stain are applied using high nap roller.
Concrete stain transforms your old, boring, gray walkway into great looking path surrounding your home. One more addition to your fine exterior.
Trim work – we offer a wide variety of moldings that not only bring dimension and beauty to your interior but also increase value of your property. Among chair rail, crown moulding, shadow boxes, we offer also more elaborate designs.
Garage floor epoxy coatings are extremely durable finishes formulated to withstand hot tires of your vehicle, salt and chemicals in the winter, spilled harsh solvents, etc. Epoxy paint when completely cured is as hard as steel and will last a long time without chipping or discoloration. Clean-up is extremely easy since nothing, even oil cannot be absorbed by coated concrete. Just wipe off the spill and mop the floor.
Complete professional application includes:
Cleaning – heavy duty degreaser and stiff bristle brush usually take care of cleaning process. Floor has to be spotless to ensure proper bond.
Etching - muriatic acid is used to make surface porous and create better bond between surface and epoxy coating.
Application – one thick coat of 2-part based epoxy is enough to protect your floor. Epoxy is applied by brush and roller.
Decoration – for showroom quality floor, we can apply decorative flakes to make your floor look more interesting. Flakes are applied directly onto still wet floor.
Super protection- for maximum protection, clear coat is applied over epoxy coating. Clear coat is mixed with anti-skid solution and applied using roller. It gives your floor high gloss finish.
Entire process takes 3 days to complete and another 7 days to allow epoxy floor cure completely.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, clothes dryer fires are caused by:
- Lint build up in the dryer and exhaust duct, blocking the flow of air - Lack of maintenance - Improper and flammable items in dryers such as foamed-backed rugs or athletic shoes - Improper installation (venting) - Use of plastic ducts - Failure or mechanical and/or electrical parts within the dryer - Vinyl and foil venting material that easily collapses when installed
Every dryer vent should be thoroughly cleaned at least once every six months. Entire system beginning from your dryer’s lint trap, all the way to the exhaust is cleaned while dryer is in operation to blow blocked lint outside.
Tools that we use are very simple but they do their job. Did you know that average dryer vent can be cleaned in less than 1 hour?
